Sports Premium

The 2012 London Olympic legacy continues through government grants to certain schools under the title of Sports Premium. Oaktree qualifies for this funding and as part of the terms, we must report how we spend it.

Purpose of funding

This funding is given to schools to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all of their children.Schools are expected to provide opportunities for children to participate in clubs and competitions, provide continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities for its staff to ensure the quality of PE teaching is improving and to help the least active children to become more active. All investments should aim to make a sustainable impact.

More information on how schools should spend the Sports Premium can be found on the gov.uk website
