Computing

We follow the Teach Computing curriculum for our information technology, digital literacy and computational thinking skills. Where possible, we make cross-curricular links where we use our computing skills to support our Enquiry learning.

We also follow Project Evolve for our online safety learning. We consider online safety to be of huge importance for our children and their parents, particularly with technology within the home becoming increasingly more available.

Our PSHE curriculum, taught through Jigsaw, also supports our online safety learning.
In Term 1, we held an Online Safety showcase. Working with the parents in class, we discussed the various topics that might arise with regards to online safety: managing online information, self-image, online bullying, lifestyle, copyright and security.

We are proud of the importance we place on knowing how to keep ourselves safe online.
