Online Safety

Children are increasingly using a range of technology to communicate online.  It is important that they are equipped with the skills, knowledge and understanding to help them be responsible and safe digital citizens.

At Oaktree, we aim to work alongside parents to enable children to acquire the necessary skill set.

Teachers and children are all required to sign a user consent form to acknowledge that they are aware of the risks associated with using modern technology and will take appropriate steps to avoid them.

If you are yet to sign, could you please return to your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
#WAKEUPWEDNESDAY

We subscribe to the National College's Wake Up Wednesday Online Safety newsletter.

We post these newsletters regularly on our Class Dojo, particularly when the subject is relevant to primary-age children.
