Our school council consists of twelve children, one from each class from Year Six right the way down to Year One. We meet every other week with Miss Breakwell where we discuss our focus projects. We also help to lead our class council meetings so that everyone gets a chance to share their ideas.
Our school councillors are chosen at the start of the year and represent their class for the whole year.
Our second major fundraising event of the year, Comic Relief was a real success. We raised well over £200 and had a lot of fun doing it. The comedy club was very funny, with lots and lots of laughs from the audience who all agreed their 50p ticket was definitely worth every penny.
Our next event is Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research. There will be medals for all those who cross the finishing line. Application forms will be going out soon.

Getting to know each other and thinking about our priorities for the school.
Raising money for Children in Need.
We talked a lot about lunch times and school dinners. We are currently working with the Midday Supervisors and the kitchen staff to help us have the best lunchtimes we can.
Comedy Club for Comic Relief is taking up most of our time. We plan to raise money on ticket sales for the Comedy Club, red nose painting and decorating biscuits with red noses.
Term 5.We are continuing our work on school lunchtimes. The children now have a set time that they have to sit at the table with their friends, this results in more food being eaten and less going in the bin. We are also planning a Race for Life event to race money for Cancer Research.
