Pupil Premium is a grant from Central Government aimed at supporting disadvantaged pupils, to raise the attainment of this group and close the attainment gap. Pupils eligible are those who are currently eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) and those who have been entitled at any time in the last 6 Years (known as Ever 6). Children who are Looked After (CLA) and those who those who have been adopted from care are also eligible for the same amount of funding.

Total number of pupils eligible for PP: 173
Amount received per pupil: £1320
Identified barriers to some children currently eligible for Pupil Premium Grant achieving their academic potential:
* Emotional needs affecting learning
* Quality early experiences, especially in language development
* Parental support for academic activities such as homework, end of Key Stage tests etc.
* Access to extra-curricular activities and first-hand experiences
