Oaktree is proud to be part of a 'Network of Excellence' known as Challenge Partners. It is a network of over 300 primary and secondary schools across England. This enables us to share expertise and learn from other schools in other settings and provides us with many other training opportunities as we strive for continual school improvement. It is a practitioner led charity which promotes collaboration between schools to enhance the life chances of all children, especially the most disadvantaged. An important part of this programme is an annual Quality Assurance review (QAR), whereby the school is visited by professional colleagues from across the country to work with school staff to identify strengths and areas for further improvement. School Leaders are also given the opportunity to take part in reciprocal visits. It is a collaborative and supportive approach to school improvement. Following the QAR the school is provided with a report.
