The Marjorie Boxall Quality Mark Award
The Staff at Oaktree Nursery and Primary School are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the Marjorie Boxall Quality Mark Award, this prestigious award is is very difficult to obtain and we are proud to announce that currently we are the only school in Swindon to achieve this.
This award is for the excellent provision in nurture provided by the Rainbow Room staff and all staff across the school.
A quote from the Nurture Group Network states that: 'nurture has the power to change life outcomes for our most vulnerable children and young people. By encouraging nurture students to build their emotional resilience, social skills, to engage with their peers and communities and to take pride in their achievements, we prevent the socially excluded child from becoming a socially excluded adult'.
